The Jabro-HFM JHF181 solid-carbine end mill is for high-feed milling strategies in hardened steels and nickel-based alloys, while the Jabro-Solid2 JS564 and JS565 focus on optimized roughing strategies for steels, stainless steels, and titanium alloys.
The Jabro-HFM JHF181 increases metal removal rates by up to 30% compared to traditional methods and is effective at machining parts with long tool overhangs and a mix of multiple axial and radial machining operations. It provides up to 30% more tool life than other comparable solid-carbide end mills when processing ISO H materials. The HXT coating adds a hard layer for thermal protection and wear resistance.
Jabro-Solid2 JS564 and JS565 offer 20% longer tool life than their predecessors, due to stable tapered cores, polished NXT coatings, and other high-performance features. The end mills provide high radial engagement while maintaining high feeds and speeds for roughing passes. Positive frontal teeth geometries support axial and helical interpolation operations. Chip splitter options create small chips when using long cutting lengths for machining deep pockets.

Automated additive/subtractive machining cell
A 20ft cell includes a 3D-printed product in-feeding station which shuttles 3D parts on build plates into a Fanuc C600 electrical-discharge machining (EDM) machine that makes a cut between the parts and build plates. In the next station, a Fanuc robot snaps the plates from the printed parts and transfers the parts to a Fanuc RoboDrill for a final machining operation.
The lights-out manufacturing cell speeds additive manufacturing – reducing the time needed to go from 3D printing to final processing. It is designed to speed final part production by up to 4x while eliminating manual processes.

Manufacturing execution system platform
The modular Argonaut platform is a manufacturing executive system (MES) that allows companies to buy only the digital manufacturing apps they need, deploy them to specific locations, and manage them from a central location.
The flexible system includes apps and reports that can be deployed to targeted locations and users. Apps can be added, updated, and removed in addition to being deployed onsite or from a cloud-based server. Argonaut is centrally controlled, rolling out updated deployments to reduce downtime.
The Spearhead edge-of-network device for Argonaut provides a user interface and communications gateway for plant floor equipment such as PLCs, torque tools, and bar code scanners.
