The Waveline W800 roughness and contour measuring devices offer flexible, precise, and fast measurement. Available in four configurations, basic versions include a 120mm traverse and 500mm vertical measuring column. System updates speed axis travel times 6x and lower ambient noise 30%.

With multiple probing options, the W800 is suited to manual or semi-automated measuring processes. Probing systems can be swapped via a magnetic quick-change adapter, increasing flexibility. Measuring station configurations are modular and can be expanded at a later stage or integrated into existing measuring systems.

Multi-spindle turning machining center

The MS40-8 multispindle automatic with 8 CNC spindles and 2 back-working spindles for rear-end machining deploys up to 18 CNC slides (X and Z) and additional Y-axes if required. A compact spindle drum includes 8 fluid-cooled motorized spindles (max 7,000rpm, 24kW, 57Nm), characterized by infinitely variable speed control, high torque, low size, and no maintenance requirements.

Indexable insert drill

The redesigned Perfomax indexable insert drill features higher drilling parameters and exceptional chip control and evacuation. The drill’s flutes have improved helix angles along with smoother chip flute exits. An engineered wave pattern minimizes contact between chips and flute surfaces. For up to 140% longer drill body tool life, fronts of Performax flutes are laser hardened to HRC 60, allowing the drill to withstand extended chip erosion.

Quick-change chuck

The centroteX system enables fast changeover of the entire chuck, increasing the range of part diameters that can be machined. Workholding devices are quickly mounted on multiple milling and turning machines.

A precision-machined adaptor/flange plate is aligned with centreX interface, equipped with a bayonet mount and a drawtube adapter to accommodate various chucks and holding devices connected and locked by six fasteners. Changeover time is typically less than 6 minutes with repeatability and changeover accuracy of <0.002mm.

Customized to hold chucks or other equipment when not in use, the clamping device container moves on heavy-duty casters and features a retractable hood to shut out contaminants.

Indexable drill

The 4TEX drill is designed for making 2xD, 3xD, and 4xD holes in the 12mm to 47mm (0.472" to 1.850") range. A single cutting edge provides higher penetration rates than standard twist drills on light-duty machines. Eliminating the center coolant outlet increases the drill’s core strength, resulting in improved hole size and straightness. Added twisted coolant outlets improve hole straightness and penetration rates by enhancing coolant flow for superior chip evacuation.

Insert geometries for standard ISO material categories improve hole quality and penetration rate, while eliminating issues from chips wrapping the tool. 4TEX uses 4-sided inserts, lowering cost per hole. The drills come in imperial and metric shanks with standard fractional diameters.

Finish-machining, titanium carbide inserts

Cermet WEP10 inserts offer long tool life and high productivity. Fine-grain titanium carbide substrate with nitrogen/cobalt (Ni/Co) binder produces a stable cutting edge. Combined with an extremely hard titanium nitride (TiCN) outer layer, the grade increases tool life due to its high wear resistance, does not need readjustment, and maximizes dimensional accuracy. WEP10’s FP4 soft-cutting insert geometry is suitable for finishing various materials.

Applications include finishing with continuous or slightly interrupted cut in steels, stainless steels, and cast iron.
